This makes a fantastic display piece, decoration, costume accessory, fidget/sensory toy, or imaginary companion. You’ll love this Dragon.

This model takes between 10 and 20 hours to print, depending on the filament choice and available printer. I print these models with 0.2mm layer lines. I use 3 perimeter walls, or more, to give the model added strength. Infill isn’t what gives a 3D printed item strength. Wall thickness is, and I add more of it.

I print these models with PLA (Polylactic Acid), a non-toxic, biodegradable, and environmentally friendly plastic that is not produced from fossil fuels.  IT’S MADE FROM PLANTS!  That’s right.  My PLA models are 100% VEGAN and CRUELTY FREE!

Matmire Makes

Matmire Makes is a relatively new modeler in the 3D printing community but he hit the ground running.  He has designed some of the most iconic reptile models around.  This is one of those models.

I am a Patreon supporter of Matmire Makes.  I have a commercial license from Matmire Makes, therefore I am an authorized seller of prints of this model.

Please be aware of the following considerations:

  • This is a 3D printed item. Each print is unique and individual.  No two 3D printed items will be the same. The process inevitably introduces small unavoidable imperfections such as layer lines, tiny gaps, and occasional blobs. I do my best to avoid them and clean them up when possible, but no print is perfect. These cosmetic issues do not compromise the integrity of the model. I think they add character. Do not be turned off though. I do not ship any product that I am not absolutely proud of. When I occasionally have a print that fails to meet my rigorous standards, but is still perfectly functional, I list it at a steep discount. Keep an eye out for my boo boo prints.
  • For color changing or rainbow filaments, I do not have control over the point of transition. Some filaments change faster than others and I can’t control where the color change happens. Sometimes the color starts blue. Other times it starts red, or orange, or yellow, or green, or whatever. I don’t have control over that.
  • These models are not meant for small children.  The joints can break if they are mishandled.  They aren’t fragile but if you make an effort, you can break them.
  • PLA, although a strong and environmentally friendly material, has certain temperature constraints you must keep in mind.  The temperature at which the material starts to get soft can be as low as 110 degrees F (44 degrees C).  This means your print can become warped if you leave it in a hot car, or even outside on a sidewalk in the sun. Keep this in mind when you decide to show off your new pet to your friends.  Inside your home, the material is just perfect.
  • Although PLA in its solid form is non-toxic, the fumes from melting it may not be.  So don’t go trying to test the flammability of your dragon.

Be careful about shops showing you an image of a big model with a low price and in the fine print they sneak in a tiny size. I will always make it clear from the images and the description the size of the model you are buying. Quality is my number one concern.  See for yourself by zooming in on the images. I don’t use cheap filament. I can’t afford to be cheap, and you shouldn’t have to deal with cheap products.

Early 2022 every modeler was getting in on the 3D printed dragon craze and FlexiFactory just had to show everyone up. This isn’t just a flexible dragon. It’s a dragon that sits up! Amazing! But look at the details in the face. No other dragon model has the details that this model has. And it prints absolutely gorgeous. That’s why I say FlexitFactory is a genius. Check it out!  See the pictures.  Better yet.  BUY ONE YOURSELF and see and feel how amazing these toys are.  Pictures, although cool, don’t do these dragons justice.  You need to see them and hold them in your hands.

*For color changing or rainbow filaments, I do not have control over the point of transition. Some filaments change faster than others and I can’t control where the color change happens. Sometimes the color starts blue. Other times it starts red, or orange, or yellow, or green, or whatever. I don’t have control over that.
*These models are not meant for small children.  The joints can break if they are mishandled.  They aren’t fragile but if you make an effort, you can break them.
*PLA, although a strong and environmentally friendly material, has certain temperature constraints you must keep in mind.
*Although PLA in its solid form is non-toxic, the fumes from melting it may not be.  So don’t go trying to test the flammability of your dragon.

Autumn Winged Cinderwing3D Crystal Dragon https://lookitthis.com/product/autumn-winged-crystal-dragon/ https://lookitthis.com/product/autumn-winged-crystal-dragon/#respond Tue, 13 Sep 2022 00:19:46 +0000 https://lookitthis.com/?post_type=product&p=3160 It’s like a Crystal Dragon, but with wings!
Cinderwing3D does it again.  She created a masterpiece with the Crystal Dragon.  And she upped the ante with this new model: a Winged Crystal Dragon.  Dragons are one of the hottest 3D printed toys in 2022 and Cinderwing’s Crystal Dragon is one of the most popular models.  And this model is even better.  Her skills as a modeler continue to improve rapidly.  And that means this model is even better than her most popular Crystal Dragon.  Check it out!  See the pictures.  Better yet.  BUY ONE YOURSELF and see and feel how amazing these toys are.  Pictures, although cool, don’t do these dragons justice.  You need to see them and hold them in your hands.

This makes a fantastic display piece, decoration, costume accessory, fidget/sensory toy, or imaginary companion. You’ll love this dragon.

This model is slightly over 18 inches long. The wingspan is an incredible 13 inches! It takes between 20 and 30 hours to print, depending on the filament choice and available printer. I print these models with 0.2mm layer lines. I use 3 perimeter walls, or more, to give the model added strength. Infill isn’t what gives a 3D printed item strength. Wall thickness is, and I add more of it.

Be careful about shops showing you an image of a big 24″ dragon with a low price and in the fine print they sneak in a short length. I will always make it clear from the images and the description the size of the model you are buying. Quality is my number one concern.  See for yourself by zooming in on the images. I don’t use cheap filament. I can’t afford to be cheap, and you shouldn’t have to deal with cheap products.

Please be aware of the following considerations:
*This is a 3D printed item.
